Duncan Jepson director of strategy and operations for Praeveni Global, an NGO focused on prevention of exploitation. He was previously founder and managing director of Liberty Shared, a leading NGO focused on anti-human trafficking, environmental crime and corporate accountability, which he founded in 2011. He submitted seven petitions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection obtaining two import bans and the criminal investigation of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., the first criminal investigation of a Fortune 500 company.
Duncan is on the faculty of the University of Southern California’s Dornsife Wrigley School Institute of Environment and Sustainability. He taught policy and social entrepreneurship at Princeton University, strategic leadership at the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University, and is an affiliated scholar at Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of International Migration. Previously, he was Head of Legal for BNY Mellon Investment Management Asia Pacific and for nearly a decade was General Counsel and Head of Compliance at ING Investment Management Asia Pacific. He has produced and directed six films and has written three novels.
